COVID-19 Testing
The COVID-19 testing tent outside Cabell Huntington Hospital closed effective Friday, April 22, 2023.
If you are in need of a COVID test, you may contact your primary care provider for testing in the office.
If you need a pre-operative COVID test, please check with your provider on testing options.
COVID-19 Home Care
Most people who have COVID-19 will not require hospitalization and can recover at home. For information on caring for yourself of a loved one with COVID-19 from our partners at the Cabell-Huntington Health Department, click here.
Vaccine Locations
COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective at preventing serious illness and hospitalizations for ages 5 and older. Vaccines and booster shots are available at a convenient location near you.

COVID-19 Quarantine & Isolation (Q&I) Calculator
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) new COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation (Q&I) Calculator is an online, mobile-friendly tool to help people follow quarantine and isolation guidance and get customized information for their unique situation. Developed in response to requests from partners and the public, the Q&I Calculator provides an easy-to-use way to figure out when and for how long people with COVID-19 and close contacts need to stay home, get tested, and wear a well-fitting mask. The calculator also provides important information about what precautions people with COVID-19 and their close contacts can take to protect loved ones and slow the spread of COVID-19 in their communities. Individuals, healthcare providers, businesses, and organizations that are managing COVID-19 cases and close contact exposures can use the Q&I Calculator. The Q&I Calculator is not for people with COVID-19 who are moderately or severely ill or those who have a weakened immune system—they should talk to their healthcare provider about when to end isolation.
COVID-19 Vaccine Calculator
West Virginia's online COVID-19 Vaccine Due Date Calculator has added new functionality to better help West Virginians understand when it’s their time to get vaccinated. The Calculator, which remains the first of its kind in the U.S., has been updated to share not only the date that the user becomes due for a COVID-19 shot, but also what type of COVID-19 vaccine they are recommended to receive. Additionally, users who scroll down on the final page will now find a “Medical Info” button for healthcare providers. The Medical Info page includes information to assist medical providers in their clinical recommendations for vaccination patients, as well as links to various helpful resources for clinical considerations and vaccine administration and more.
